We had 4mm of overnight rain and penetrometer reading at 7.30am this morning returned a Dead4 reading. Temperatures are forecast to reach 23 today, if we miss anymore rain the track should come back very well.

The Trentham track is a Dead 4 this morning after 1.7mls of rain.
The weather appears to be clearing no rain since at least 6am.

Track has improved to a Slow 7 this morning. Weather is currently fine & is set to improve throughout the day.

As at 2.00pm today we have had 15mls of rain and the track is a Heavy 10. It is still raining at Trentham at writing it doesn’t look to be clearing anytime soon.

A penetrometer was taken this morning and the Trentham track is a Dead 5. The drying conditions were better that expected yesterday but it is overcast and much cooler today. Another reading will be taken this afternoon to asses the drying today.

Nearly 30mls of rain fell overnight at Trentham (from about 6.30pm) and the track reading this morning was just in to a Slow 7. The weather is now clear and there is no further rain forecast. We are expecting the track to continue to improve this week and at there is no plan to irrigate. The track staff will continue to monitor and further updates will be provided as they come to hand.

The Trentham Track was a Dead 5 on Friday afternoon and after strong winds over the weekend was a Good 3 this morning. With the forecast rain tomorrow afternoon and Wednesday morning there will be no irrigating for the next two days and the surface will be reassessed on Wednesday. It is currently overcast and still at Trentham

A penetrometer was taken at 1pm today of the Trentham Track. The reading was a Dead 5 after irrigating, which will continue this evening.

A penetrometer this morning has rated the track a Dead 5. Warm weather is forecast for the remainder of the week and the plan is to continue to irrigate.

Track is a Heavy 11. An inspection of the track this morning has revealed no surface water with the rail out at 10 metres

Overnight, 4 mls of rain was recorded at the Trentham track. An inspection this morning has revealed no surface water on the track. Club officials are confident the meeting will proceed and Trentham has not received the lashings of rain recorded in Wellington / Porirua area.
